Mustangs of America Foundation, Stock Contractor Az. Horseman’s Challenge 2018 In 2007 Lynda Sanford and Lauri Tran started the Mustangs of America Foundation (MAF), an all-volunteer, nonprofit, nonpolitical organization dedicated to promoting mustang and burro adoptions.  MAF has partnered with the Lanny Leach Horsemanship Program to bring attention to the trainability and versatility of mustangs. MAF is committed to working with the Bureau of Land Management to increase the number of successful adoptions. One of the most exciting projects the foundation is focusing on our mustang-inmate training programs. By partnering with prisons we have successfully assisted in giving inmates the opportunity to train wild mustangs for adoption. The programs have adopted over 650 mustangs to the public, border patrol, fish and wildlife, and other government agencies. This program teaches inmates respect, caring and responsibility while learning a new trade they can take with them when they are released from prison. With continued public support MAF will continue to assist this worthwhile program helping inmates and mustangs to start new lives.   Contact Info:   www.Mustangsofamericafoundation.org
